It’s interesting how a high rise building is demolished. The demolition team places explosives at the foot of the building’s center supports first. When the foundation is weakened it can no longer support the upper levels. So gravity takes it turn and the building falls because the foundation has been weakened. An edifice built to withstand strong winds and earthquakes is taken down by destroying the foundation. Jesus must be the foundation of all we do and the purpose behind what we do. If we ever get away from making Christ known and glorifying Him, then every program, no matter how moral it is, will naturally collapse because it is not established on a firm foundation and purpose.
