The Beginning Flashies, along with the Cued Flashies, are the first set of flash cards used in the ILR Learning Progression. Use the Beginning Flashies as a foundational tool to te ach the ILR sounds and corresponding handwriting formations. One side of the Flashie shows a letter with the corresponding differentiation of colour, number or clue; supported by a picture prompt and sound ditty. The reverse side shows the letter with the handwriting formation prompts, the ditty and the letter formation rhyme.
