This is the IDQ driver that competes in large vehicle builds and serious sound quality events. 375W RMS 750W Peak 280 oz Motor Field-Replaceable Cone The 280 Ounce Motor The IDQ12 V.4 uses a 280 ounce Extended Y-35 motor, up from 180 ounces on the IDQ8 and IDQ10. The additional motor mass provides more magnetic flux density in the voice coil gap, stronger motor force relative to the moving mass of the 12 inch cone, and more thermal mass to absorb heat during sustained high-power operation. The result is 375 watts RMS continuous power handling from a driver that also has to control a 510.72 cm2 cone with 14.5mm of one-way Xmax. The IDQ12 is 20.3 pounds.
