About butyl rubber:Super waterproof tape is commonly known as foil tape. These tapes come with extruded butyl rubber, always tacky and pressure sensitive sealant with good adhesion strength. They can form an instant seal against water, air or dust, and remain permanently soft. They are ideal for filling gaps and sealing joints, such as those in bolted duct flanges and circular ducts in HVAC systems, air conditioning housings, roofing and cladding systems, caravan roofs and panels, car windscreens and tail lights, glass and metal.PRODUCT CHARACTERISTICS: Chemical, heat and weather resistant. High tack adhesive for cold climates. Excellent insulating, flame retardant properties. Excellent adhesion even at low temperatures. Blocks moisture and odours. Water and UV resistant. Multi-application:Super Waterproof Tape is applicable in the electrical, HVAC and construction industries. The tape is especially used when moisture and chemical resistance, thermal conductivity, flame resistance and heat and light reflection are required. These tapes can withstand different weather conditions. Tips: Due to strong stickiness, please wear gloves to avoid hand sticking. In winter, it is better to use a hairdryer to warm up the tape before installation. Do not peel it off after application within 24 hours.
