Quantity: 200 Per Box SYSCON Sensors Immersion Star Samplers are designed for the Iron and Steel industry to aid in the secondary refining process by obtaining quick, solid, and homogenous samples. They are ideal for taking samples from Electric Arc Furnace (EAF), Basic Oxygen Furnace (BOF), Tundish, Ladle, and other stations. Star style samplers provide 6 separate “pins” arranged in a star shape, from which chemical composition and inclusion characteristics can be determined by spectrometric and combustion analysis of these samples. Star Samplers are available with Aluminum, Zirconium, or no deoxidizer material. Immersion tubes are made from high density convolute wound paper for maximum strength and resilience. Samplers with immersion tubes are available in a variety of sizes. Samplers and tubes are also sold separately, allowing a single tube to be re-used with a second sampler at the opposite end.
