Historical, anthropological, socio-cultural, and legal perspective of human sexuality in general and homosexuality in particular. Dr Alena Rada is of the Australian nationality, but was born in Prague, the Czech Republic. She is a cross-disciplinary researcher with a PhD in linguistics (1991), a PhD candidature in anthropology (1994), a PhD candidature in education (1996), and a Master’s degree (Honours) in Criminology (1998). She has worked as a language teacher for 20 years in public and private schools in Sydney in Australia and a lecturer for 12 years at various conferences. Presently she is a writer and medical researcher. The book "Imposed Morality" is written from a multidisciplinary perspective and in this sense is totally different from other books dealing with human sexuality and particularly homosexuality. While other books usually present only one point of view such as medical, psychiatric, psychological, social or legal this book present a total and multidisciplinary view. It also includes a discussion of the present views of homosexuality both in the western countries as compared to some non-western societies which do not seem to take the many important aspects of this practice recently discussed and evaluated by western scientists in consideration, and continue to criminalize homosexuality leading to death sentences and executions of gay people or them being stoned publicly to death.
