DESCRIPTION The Imrie is the slimmer version of the Hanna necklace. It is a beautifully shaped sculptural necklace, gradually tapering in and out in width, a tube of hallmarked silver chain. Perfect for daywear and special occasion, it is light and incredibly comfortable, draping beautifully on the body.The silver and 14ct rolled gold version is subtly graded from silver to gold and back again.Available in various lengths, and can be made to a specific length, just get in touch.Each loop is handmade, soldered and hammered giving it great durability. The subtle hammer texture on the loops gives the necklace a lovely gentle sparkle.The necklace holds its sculptural tube form when worn.When the necklace is not being worn it collapses into itself which makes it easy for storage.The clasp is a very strong magnet, (see the video to the left of the screen) which is super easy to put on as the two halves of the magnet find each other and snap together. Langer® is the one and only producer in the world that produces waterproofed magnetic jewelry clasps, mechanically sealed without any gluing.Magnetic clasps are not to be used if you have a pacemaker fitted.The oxidised silver version comes with an 18ct gold plated magnetic clasp, if you would like this to be silver or oxidised silver instead just email me to let me know.The Imrie necklaces all have the magnetic clasps. If you would prefer the loop in loop version as pictured in the all silver option just email me to let me know.Rolled gold, which is also known as gold filled is a material that has 1/20th of 14ct gold content by weight. The material is made by pressure bonding multiple layers of solid 14ct gold to a core of high quality jeweller's brass, creating a durable material which has a high quantity of gold. Rolled gold must have at least 5% gold content, this is a much thicker layer than gold plated jewellery. Rolled gold has around 100 times more gold than gold plated jewellery, this thick layer of gold does not wear off. Rolled gold is hypoallergenic and should not cause a problem for anyone with skin sensitivities.Please note that the video shows the silver and rolled gold option.
