The houses in Ramallah, originally made of stone and mud, developed into elegant homes for people to gather and celebrate. Ramallah, featured here, is shown with a paragraph from the poem "In Ramallah" by Mahmoud Darwish. In the poem, he describes the future possibility of having an "absence."
