Talamone, Italy. We stumbled across this most idyllic spot on our way, driving from Rome to Florence. It was our first trip of the euro summer and man was it great to be on the road, in the sun, hot air flowing in through the window and the salt drying on our skin. We were told about this spot by a local in a town a little way to the south. Told us it was not to be missed, only locals and Romans "in the know" knew about it. For some reason it is called "Stabilimento Balneare Bagno Delle Donne" which translates to "Bathhouse of the Womens Bathroom'. Good way to keep it a secret we reckon.
