INCA-19B – Inca Slinger A stone, a length of woven fibre and years of practice could create a remarkably effective battlefield weapon. The sling was an important part of warfare in the Andes, and INCA-19B – Inca Slinger from John Jenkins Designs captures one of these missile troops ready to send his projectile towards the enemy. The armies of the Inca Empire were capable of mobilising large numbers of warriors drawn from across their territories. Within those forces, troops armed with different weapons could perform specialised roles, with slingers helping disrupt and weaken opposing formations before closer combat began. The different pose of INCA-19B makes it an excellent companion to INCA-19A, allowing collectors to build a much more natural-looking group of missile troops.
