Natural sandalwood forms the heart of every blend, layered with woods, botanicals, and florals to build fragrances that are both grounded and evocative. Kousaido blends all three with natural sandalwood as a base, giving each its own roundness rather than letting any single note dominate. Palo Santo : Sweet and woody with a faint resinous warmth, palo santo is a scent that feels grounding without being heavy. Kousaido blends it with natural sandalwood as a base, which rounds out the sweetness and gives it a quiet depth that lingers gently after the cone has finished. White Sage : Cool, herbal, and clean — white sage is one of those scents that seems to clear the air as much as fill it. Blended with a natural sandalwood base, Kousaido's version is softer than you might expect, the sage present but not sharp, with enough warmth beneath it to feel settled rather than stark. Frankincense : Deep, resinous, and slow to fade, frankincense is the most substantial of the three.
