Developed on Japan’s Awaji Island, the birthplace of Japanese incense, we find Hibi’s fragrances to be grounding and gentle—never overpowering—the perfect way to start, end, or reset your day. Cleverly designed to work like a box of matches, no lighting device is necessary—just strike the incense match on the side of the box, place it on the included burn mat, and enjoy. Each stick will burn for about 10 minutes, but the aroma will linger. While the burn mat is designed to sit inside its paper tray, we do offer Porcelain Trays in our Hibi Collection as a more permanent and elegant incense dish.
