"Flying in the Dark exhibition is up from February 1st-February 28th 2025 Back story: On July 1st, an oncologist surgically removed my left ovary and a giant six inch cyst. Ironically, I spent my last night recovering in the hospital on July 4th...Independence Day. I sat alone in my room and from the windows I watched fireworks span the length of the horizon in the distance. I felt grateful that I was alive. But mostly, I couldn't stop thinking about my own independence, from who I was before the surgery. Show more
