When you arrive at your destination, simply insert the SIM into your handset and switch on roaming. Once cellular reception is picked up, you will receive a welcoming activation message. Your Mobile Number The India data SIM card does not come with a phone number and cannot be used for calls and texts. Recharging Your SIM The India data SIM card cannot be recharged. We recommend purchasing multiple SIMs for extra data and staggering the use. Checking Usage/Balances The easiest way to monitor data usage is via your phone's network settings. There should be a data tracker which lets you know how much roaming data has been used since inserting the SIM.
