Indian Paintbrush is a native wildflower of western North America that grows in diverse habitats, ranging from 4” to 20″ (10 to 50 cm) tall and blooming from March through June. Pa intbrush is semi-parasitic, getting part of its nutritional needs from other plants by attaching to the host plant’s roots.
