The indicator beetle is a foam fly with durable legs that works well throughout the warm months. The orange dot on its back makes the fly visible to anglers though it cannot be see n by the fish. As the name would indicate this fly is great for use as the lead in a two fly dropper combo instead of a strike indicator because when a fish hits this they can be hooked.
