Watercolour Brushwork on Designer Bear Form The body is cast in premium resin from our bear master mould, then hand-painted by our studio artists in the watercolour-inspired indigo and black gestures that define the piece. Each designer bear sculpture in this finish is painted individually, meaning no two are identical — the brush strokes, the bleeds of pigment, the placement of the yellow accents and the density of the indigo all shift subtly between pieces. The white base coat is sealed and polished before the watercolour layers are applied, so the upper pigments retain their translucent, fluid quality against a clean luminous ground. The finish is then sealed with a clear protective lacquer that locks the artwork in and gives the bear a soft satin sheen.
