Infinite Singularity is a post-punk/avant-garde solo artist currently residing in the remote north woods of Minnesota. The 2002 debut album Ruins was recorded with rudimentary equipment, making a splash and garnering mixed reviews in the international underground/independent music world. Two decades later, Infinite Singularity returned after a long hiatus, releasing a fully re-recorded version, Ruins Revisited, which remained faithful to the original song compositions and approach. Since the 2022 return, Infinite Singularity has built momentum with new experiments in concept and sound; and a third installment in the Ruins saga is in the queue for the 25th anniversary, but this first album remains the touchstone for Infinite Singularity's current and future releases and direction.
