This Infinity Mirror is an innovative educational tool that is perfect for classrooms, makerspaces, and STEM labs. This interactive product allows students to explore and learn about light, reflection, and spatial awareness by building a never-ending mirror! It is an excellent resource for teachers looking to add a new and engaging element to their lesson plans and is an exciting way to get students engaged in learning about science and technology. The Infinity Mirror can be used in a variety of settings and for a wide range of student levels, making it a valuable addition to any classroom. For younger students, the Infinity Mirror can be used to introduce basic concepts of light and reflection, while older students can use it to explore more advanced topics such as optics and spatial awareness. Students can construct the mirror themselves, developing their engineering and design skills while gaining insight into what is needed to create the infinity illusion. This allows for discussion points on key physics principals and for creativity in the process. Once built, the Infinity Mirror has a sleek, compact design and is easily powered by its USB cable. The illusion is created by running lighting around the edge of a fully-reflective mirror; and then placing a second partially-reflective (one-way) mirror parallel, a short distance away. This creates a straight-on illusion of the lights disappearing infinitely into the mirror. Each reflection adds to the perception of distance being created by the light bounding between the mirrors. This mesmerizing effect is both visually striking and scientifically fascinating - a perfect tool for engaging students in the learning process, or as an eye-catching model in your classroom. This model is interactive because a finger or pointer being used to apply slight pressure to any point on the back of the fully-reflective mirror will distort the total parallel alignment of the two mirrors, and cause the reflection to move! Get students excited about science and technology, in a fun and interactive way! Suitable for students aged 8+ years
