Use the templates to make chip & dip, cheese & cracker, and candy trays. By gluing-up your scrap stock (2" thick seems to work best) and using different species of wood you can make truly beautiful serving trays. There are six templates included in this kit but four of them can be used to make multiple shapes. You could even mix and match templates "B" & "C" and also templates "E" & "F". In fact, with some imagination you can make more than a dozen different serving trays with these six templates! The 1/2"-thick MDF templates are CNC machined and drilled with countersink mounting holes. We recommend using our CNC-machined router collet extension to give you more than 2" of additional reach. The collet extension works with all of your 1/2" shank router bits. Also recommended is our 12" x 12" large router base (115-032) for extra support when routing the trays.
