The line tracking sensor is specially developed by our company for line-following cars, designed to simplify and stabilize the operation without the need for potentiometer adjustment. The line tracking sensor is essentially an infrared transmitting and receiving device, consisting of a pair of infrared emission and reception tubes. Working Principle: The emission tube emits infrared light at a specific frequency. When the emitted infrared light encounters a reflective surface in the detection direction, it is reflected back and received by the receiving tube. The reflected signal is processed by an inverter (Schmitt trigger) circuit. Upon detection, the blue indicator light turns on, and the signal output interface outputs a digital signal (a low-level signal). Environmental Interference: The infrared emission and reception heads of the line tracking sensor are significantly affected by ambient light. Generally, the closer the sensor is to the reflective surface, the better the detection effect. Specifications: Operating Voltage: 3.3V - 5V Detection Distance: 1mm - 20mm This sensor is optimized for applications in line-following cars, ensuring more straightforward and stable operation without the need for manual adjustments.
