This is a complete injector assembly - comprising both the holder and nozzle - for the Land Rover Defender 2.5 naturally aspirated diesel engine. The injector atomises fuel directl y into the combustion chamber; a worn or blocked nozzle results in poor atomisation, leading to hard starting, excessive smoke, uneven idle, and increased fuel consumption. Replacing the full holder and nozzle assembly rather than the nozzle alone ensures correct seating, sealing, and spray pattern geometry.
