A 5-day Experience to open up to your INNER ARTIST Together we are going to tap in to our innate creativity, reconnect with the natural universal flow state, and start or refresh a creative practice. While this is an amazing 5-day process to go through if you are a complete beginner, it is also essentially contains the tools I myself use any time I need a creative or artistic “reset” of sorts. I have a tendency to get caught up in my head and overthink the process, or I will have too many ideas at once that no mortal could possibly attend to in one lifetime. These practices i’m going to share over these 5 days are what I use to help myself get back to a centered and grounded place. We will be using any painting medium you choose. I will be using mostly watercolor, and other great options are gouache, pastels, colored pencil, acrylic, markers or even/of course oils. While I do usually teach in oil paints, this class is more about developing your creative process than it is technical painting skills. Each day will include about 15-30 minutes of recorded video, depending on the topic, with an assigned “project” for you to complete on your own time. You can follow along during the 5 days with me, or do it over 10 days, or on whatever timeline works for you. My goal for you through this time together is to open up your inner source of creativity through guided daily exercises and painting practices. You can do these with watercolors or with colored pencils, sharpies, pastels, anything you have on hand. The goal with this class is to get into your creative flow state. Whether you are already a practicing artist, or you have never painted before--and maybe you never plan to again--this class is an exercise in becoming present.
