BIRDS OF THE CYPRESS WETLANDS This is a painting of the Anhinga bird. I saw these 2 birds one day while walking at a nearby nature sanctuary called the Cypress wetlands. They were sitting on top of a tall tree branch. Below them were hundreds of other birds, baby birds, a couple of alligators, turtles… they just looked so serene. They had found their calm amongst the chaos of the world. This is a 24x30” canvas, framed in a rustic wood frame which adds about 1 1/2" to the overall dimensions.
