These will be housed in a deluxe gatefold sleeve with artwork by illustrator Areku Nishiki. Jonah Senzel has created effective, affecting music and sound design for all of game designer Daniel Mullins’ titles so far (including Pony Island and The Hex.) For Inscryption, Senzel’s twangs, clanks, humming, and other unsettling sonic elements immerse players in the inky black world of the cabin, the gamemaster, and beyond… The soundtrack album combines music and sounds to paint a deeply eerie auralscape that’s part post-rock, part twisted Americana, and part musique concrète.
