Organize parameter widgets, alerts, and layouts to match your reefing style and monitoring needs. Visual & Audible AlertsStay informed when something needs attention. The InSight can provide both visual and audible alerts when aquarium parameters move outside your preferred range, helping you respond quickly to potential issues before they become serious. Touchscreen Quick ControlsAccess common aquarium functions directly from the display. Quickly activate feed modes, control lighting presets, or trigger automation functions without needing to open the Apex app. AvidAqua InSight vs InSight ProBoth the standard InSight and the InSight Pro offer the same core aquarium monitoring experience — including the 4” touchscreen display, WiFi connectivity, Apex integration, customizable dashboards, alerts, and touchscreen controls. The biggest difference is that the Pro model adds advanced environmental monitoring sensors designed to track the air quality and conditions around your aquarium. What Makes the InSight Pro Different? Room CO2 MonitoringThe InSight Pro can monitor CO2 levels in the room surrounding your aquarium. High indoor CO2 is one of the most common causes of chronically low pH in reef aquariums, even when alkalinity is stable. The Pro helps reef keepers identify environmental issues that may be affecting coral growth and overall tank health. Humidity & Room Temperature MonitoringThe Pro model tracks ambient room temperature and humidity levels around your aquarium system. This can help detect excessive evaporation, poor ventilation, overheating equipment rooms, or moisture buildup under aquarium cabinets before they become larger problems. VOC (Air Quality) DetectionThe InSight Pro also monitors VOCs (volatile organic compounds) in the surrounding air. Household chemicals, paints, cleaners, aerosols, and other airborne contaminants can negatively impact sensitive reef aquariums. The Pro provides an additional layer of environmental awareness for advanced reef systems. Which One Should You Choose?
