Product details Overview 8K30fps 360° Video & Dual 1/1.28" Sensors New, larger 1/1.28" sensors capture more light than Insta360 X4 for superb clarity, even in low-light conditions, and support 13.5 stops of dynamic range and 2.4μm equivalent pixel size for professional-quality imaging. Vibrant colors and sharp details bring every frame to life for an extraordinary visual experience, even when zoomed in or cropped during post-production. Triple AI Chip for 360° PureVideo For the first time ever, a 360° camera is paired with three AI chips for a 140% increase in overall computing power. Two dedicated Pro Imaging Chips enhance low light quality and reduce noise for cleaner images, and a 5nm AI Chip offers powerful image processing, faster image speed, and improved quality. Combined with dedicated low light shooting mode, PureVideo, for advanced AI noise reduction and optimized dynamic range, X5 delivers clear, vivid footage, no matter the lighting. Whether it's an evening ride or exploring the city after dark, expect jaw-dropping quality in every frame. Shoot First, Frame Later With 360º video capturing everything around you, just hit record, find your focus, and choose the best angles later with AI-powered reframing tools in the Insta360 app. Unlike regular cameras that require multiple takes, positions, or devices to film different perspectives, X5 packs every possible angle into a single shot—a multi-cam setup in one! Invisible Selfie Stick Effect No drone? No problem! The Invisible Selfie Stick completely disappears from 360º footage for epic third-person angles, drone-like follow shots, and iconic views. Replaceable Lenses An ultra-hard coating makes X5's lenses our most durable ever, but if you do damage them, the revolutionary replaceable lens design means you can pop out the damaged lenses and snap in fresh ones by yourself with the easy-to-use replacement kit. No worrying about scratches, no waiting for repairs, no holding back. InstaFrame Mode The best way to shoot and share. Choose between a fixed view that follows a consistent direction or a selfie view that keeps you in frame throughout the video and get a perfectly framed, instantly shareable flat video with no editing or reframing needed. At the same time, you'll also record a full 360° video, allowing you to reframe, edit, and find those unexpected moments. 185-Min Battery Life & Fast Charging The new 2400mAh battery offers up to 185 minutes of recording at 5.7K24fps in smart power-saving Endurance Mode, a 37% increase compared to X4. Plus, Fast Charging gets you to 80% in just 20 minutes, so you can get back to the action in no time. FlowState Stabilization & 360º Horizon Lock Leading FlowState Stabilization technology eliminates any shakes and bumps to keep your footage silky smooth, while 360° Horizon Lock means perfectly level videos, every time. 5.7K60fps Active HDR Now upgraded to 60fps, this innovative HDR mode guarantees stunning details and colors in the highlights and shadows and delivers excellent stabilization in action-packed moments. Even when shooting in strong light or backlit environments, you'll see more natural transitions between light and dark for a more realistic visual experience. New Wind Guard for Clear Audio A first for 360º cameras. X5 features an innovative multi-layer steel mesh Wind Guard that effectively silences wind noise. Combined with a boosted audio algorithm, X5 delivers crystal-clear sound across four versatile modes. Waterproof to 49ft (15m) Go deeper than any Insta360 camera before with IP68 waterproofing up to 49ft (15m), no dive case needed—a 50% improvement over X4. Exploring deeper? Add the Invisible Dive Case for seamless 360º stitching to 164ft (50m). AI-Powered Editing Say goodbye to manual reframing and let AI handle the edit. Our advanced AI automatically finds your highlights thanks to even faster subject and scenario detection and combines them into a ready-to-share video.
