Abstract composition painted in 1962 by Danish artist Emil Gregersen. The work is constructed from a series of interlocking colour fields, arranged to create a balanced and structu red surface. The palette is restrained, combining purples, greys and earth tones with areas of lighter contrast. Paint is applied directly, with visible brushwork and surface texture contributing to the overall composition. Presented in a simple wooden frame, consistent with the period.
