Accident Excess This is the maximum you will need to pay per incident if accidental damage occurs while on hire. You can select how much excess you prefer now and you have the option to reduce this until the evening before your booking starts. Your options are: Risk Taker (Mandatory) $16 per day $3,000 excess per incident Happy Camper (Optional Add-On) $36 per day $500 excess per incident Reduce your excess from $3,000 to $500 The excess reduction applies to accidental damage only. If damage is caused by an unauthorised driver or a deliberate or reckless act or a breach of the hire terms by the hirer or an authorised driver the hirer will have no damage cover and will be responsible for the full costs of the damage.
