The Integrated Engineering Recirculating Catch Can Kit gives your EA888 Gen 3 TSI engine a proper catch can setup without venting to atmosphere or removing any factory PCV hardware. Crankcase oil fumes that would otherwise condense in your turbo piping, intercooler, and intake manifold are captured before they reach the intake tract, which cuts down the carbon buildup on intake valves that's a common complaint on direct-injection TSI engines. The kit replaces the factory PCV breather plate on top of the valve cover with an IE billet unit built around a baffle system that catches oil mist without blocking crankcase ventilation, then routes it through braided hoses to a billet recirculating catch can mounted on the passenger side of the engine bay.
