In this 6-session intensive pottery course, we will build on your skills and deal with more demanding techniques and more complex vessel shapes. By practising and refining your technique, you will develop your skills and gain more control over the clay. What you can expect: Shaping vessels - working with curves, edges and proportionsCollaring - targeted narrowing of vessels for refined shapesClosed shapes - for jars, ball vases & moreVessels with foot ring - clean, elegant finishes for your worksTrimming - for precise bases and harmonious proportions At the end of the course, you can choose your 6 favourite pieces. These will be finished with a glaze of your choice and fired. They will be ready for collection after 4-6 weeks. They can also be dispatched for an additional charge (10 euros). Requierements:This course is aimed at participants with experience on the wheel. Centring and small vessels are already routine for you and you would like to take your skills to the next level. Notes: *Everything you will make is food safe as well as dishwasher safe *The clay can be easily washed out of clothes, but it is best not to wear your best clothes.
