Excellent interactive color scheme wheels for students to reference as they're creating art! This package includes 3 different colors scheme wheels (warm/cool, complementary, analogous) in a few different versions. First you have the choice between a simple color wheel (just primary/secondary colors - great for elementary) or a more complex wheel (includes tertiary colors - great for upper elementary and middle school age). You also have the choice between an already colored color wheel or a blank color wheel (your students will fill it in). You also have the choice between color scheme wheels with the American version of “color” or the Canadian/Australian/UK version of “colour.”Every page has two identical color scheme wheels, so if you are having every student create their own, just cut the page in half.If you’ve opted to use the blank color wheels, have your students color in the wheel BEFORE cutting it out.If you’re using the already colored wheels, just go ahead and have your students cut along the outside of both pieces (the wheel and its cover). Then refer to the direction sheets for the rest of the assembly directions. How I use this product:For my own classroom, I went ahead and assembled the wheels myself. I used the already colored wheels and printed them out on a heavy presentation matte paper (though any bright white cardstock would work just fine). Then before putting in the brads to attach the cover to the wheel, I laminated both parts. I made enough color wheels to put one at each of my tables.I plan on letting my students reference these wheels when I teach lessons that use these particular color schemes.PLEASE NOTE: I cannot control how your printer prints the color on the already colored wheels. Please do a test print before printing out a class set.If you're looking for even more interactive tools, be sure to check out my Interactive Art Sketchbook: Elements of Art. **It contains the uncolored version of this color scheme wheel product.
