The Most Versatile High-Performance Chassis On The Market. The Interceptor Chassis is designed to allow Axial SCX10-II, Element, Axial Base Camp or VS410 to bolt into a TRUE HIGH PERFORMANCE flat rail chassis. The chassis can also be used on RTR trucks except Elements with IFS & ECTO. Rock Pirates RC (RPRC) upgrade parts are also compatible with the Interceptor Chassis. NOTE: INTERCEPTOR CHASSIS Also Fits the Axial Capra! We Highly Recommend the Rock Pirates RC 6 Pack Crossmembers for this build. When using the Stainless-Steel rails, bolt up the skid first, then pinch the rails and install the battery tray crossmember. Then add the spacer/washers needed to the support crossmember to be installed under the battery tray. SPECIAL FEATURES: Available in high quality Stainless Steel (9.9 oz) or Anodized Aircraft Aluminum (3.6 oz). Note: Bolt up the transmission skid first (stock) then pinch the rails to install servo tray and rear crossmembers. Small spacers will be needed on the rear crossmember if using a Hardline Bed. Stainless steel custom RPRC pan hard bar mount. NOTE: Flip to the inside for SCX10-II, flip to the outside for Element & Base Camp builds. Base Camp Build Notes: You will need to use the Rock Pirates RC SCX10-II Servo/Winch Tray and Plank Mini Battery Tray. The steering linkage will need to be shortened a little by cutting a couple threads off each end of the steering rod. Use the stock transmission skid and remove the side guide pins. Install the transmission skid so the rear screw holes of the skid align with the second holes from the rear on the Interceptor Chassis. VS410 Phoenix Build Notes: We recommend you use the Rock Pirates RC Element Servo Tray; it fits perfect and clears everything nicely. Use the Rock Pirates RC Panhard Mount that is provided with the Interceptor Chassis and turn it to the inside. The Phoenix Trans, Skid, Links Axles and Drive Shafts fit the Interceptor Chassis perfect. This is a very fun and capable build! Chassis is NOT a belly dragger. All RPRC sliders will fit this chassis. RPRC Servo/Winch Tray or Element Enduro OEM servo tray will be required for use with the SCX10-II platform. Optimized belly clearance. Note: Do not use a flat skid, use the stock skid. Low center of gravity. Optimized full suspension compression front and rear when tuned correctly. Nine upper shock mounting holes in each shock tower to make any type of setup easy. Top shock holes are intentionally larger for ease of set up. Once tightened there is no play.
