Purpose All parts here are designed to be used with our exclusive 500+ WHP capable side mounted intercooler core Our lightweight aluminum block off plate diverts and promotes maximum air flow to our side mounted intercooler core. Without this plate, air would travel past your intercooler through the many holes and cracks causing rough turbulence and inefficient air flow when the vehicle is in motion. Our 9" diameter lightweight aluminum fan shroud helps provides high air flow to the intercooler. By forcing and directing more air through the intercooler core, many users are noticing significant temperature drops For fan, we highly recommend fat heavy duty monster 808 CFM SPAL fan as it is the only fan out of the 3 that can fully penetrate the 4" thick intercooler core, providing proper air flow. Its also helped our customers propel upwards to 520whp on a side mounted intercooler system. If money is an issue, we recommend our default 9" fan. The third fan, the SPAL 9" Slim series fan for 4x the price only provided a small 14% improvement in CFM, so we don't really recommend it.
