Interdens® is the registered trade mark of BASF Wolman GmbH, Sinzheim, Germany Here at the Fire Seal Shop, we stock a range of Interdens® fire rated glazing - a type of low pressur e-activating intumescent strip that provides up to 1 hour fire resistance. Ideally, Interdens® is used as a fire protection product when glazing doors and screens by placing either side of the glass. The key to its success is the little or no pressure created on its expansion, and that is right throughout its production of foam well into a fire test. The resultant char is an excellent insulator for the surrounding timbers and glass edge working to enhance their ability to restrict the passage of hot gasses. Show more
