The enzymes work alongside EDTA to target the structural components of the matrix itself, including the polysaccharide and protein layers that make biofilm so resilient. The enzyme profile is comprehensive: polysaccharide-targeting enzymes (glucoamylase, cellulase, hemicellulase, beta-glucanase, chitosanase) work on the carbohydrate framework of biofilm protease and peptidase complex addresses the protein components. Serratia peptidase, delivered in an enteric-coated form to ensure it reaches the intestines intact, adds additional proteolytic activity. Lysozyme rounds out the formula with targeted support against bacterial cell walls. Importantly, this product is not a probiotic displacer — it is designed to disrupt pathogenic and dysfunctional biofilm while supporting the conditions for healthy microbial communities to take hold.
