Produced start to finish in Japan, Olde Homesteader utilizes premium Banshu-ori fabrics from Nishiwaki City, in Hyogo Prefecture. These textiles are made traditionally, woven and dyed using the same regional techniques originally developed in the 1700s. This antique production is slow and deliberate, overseen by a small team of highly specialized craftspeople continuing a centuries-long tradition of local textile creation. The Interlock Henley Neck is a lightweight long sleeve layering piece with an easy fit through the torso cut with a ribbed hem and dropped shoulders for emphasis. It's made from 100% cotton yarns and features a tightly-woven, lightweight interlock knit that drapes well and feels great on bare skin. The cuffs and hem use a tight rib knit to help give a more vintage silhouette, while the collar features a henley neckline with a classic tonal three-button placket.
