My very first inspiration for these artworks came to me when I was standing on the corner of a busy intersection in Downtown Toronto. As I watched people crossing the roads, I observed how they carried themselves through the vibrant afternoon, and how their postures were revealing the weight of their experiences. Everyone on that intersection seemed to possess a unique tale, woven with different ages, stages in life, dreams, and pasts. Much later, the idea for this mini collection was born from that observation. Despite our diverse backgrounds, we intersect and can find connections through our stories. My own stories and encounters solidified my belief that curiosity serves as a powerful driving force for many of us. It makes us explore the world around us, seek meaning in our lives, and form purposeful relationships with others. Curiosity moves us beyond the boundaries of our comfort zones, urging us to ask questions, embrace new experiences, and expand our perspectives.
