Few flags carry such a clear message of wholeness, autonomy and pride. Morgan Carpenter created the intersex flag in 2013 as an alternative to imagery that had little grounding in intersex movement history. The golden-yellow field and purple circle became a powerful symbol of wholeness, completeness, bodily autonomy and intersex people's right to define their own bodies. This intersex pride flag brings that history into bedrooms, community spaces, activism displays and Pride events. It works beautifully as intersex room decor and as a visible reminder that bodily autonomy belongs within the heart of LGBTQIA+ politics. In homes, clinics, classrooms and advocacy spaces, the flag fills a gap that still exists even inside LGBTQIA+ visibility. Intersex people should not appear only in medical conversations. They deserve cultural symbols on the wall too. Intersex Pride Flag Product Details Measures 35.4 x 59 inches / 90 x 150 cm. Printed on SuperTex, a polyester-fibre and PVC blend.
