Pattern Details Difficulty: Advanced Beginner The Interwoven Sweater is a top-down, seamless colourwork sweater. The pattern is fully customisable; you can use from 2-8 (or even more!) colours… it’s up to you! Only two strands are used at any one time, with the longest float of 3 stitches. The pattern begins at the neckline, with ribbing. German short rows are then worked to add some additional length to the back of your sweater. The colourwork chart and a series of increases are worked until you have finished the yoke. Next the sleeves are put on hold, and the body is worked using the same repeated pattern, finishing with a 2x2 ribbed tubular bind-off. The sleeve stitches are then picked up and worked to a length of your choice and finished with a 2x2 ribbed tubular bind-off. This pattern has been graded with 10cm of positive ease. I would recommend picking the finished size which is as close as possible to 10cm larger than your bust measurement. Samples The pink and grey long sleeve sweater is a size 3 - with 7cm positive ease. Yarn is our Corriedale/Cormo DK base in Shika and Undyed. The short sleeve top is a size 4 - with 5cm negative ease The brown and white long sleeve sweater, with cuffed sleeves, is a size 4 - with 17cm of positive ease Yarn requirements All quantities below are approximate and based on: meeting gauge, doing a swatch and a small margin for different knitting styles. Therefore if your size just tips over to requiring another skein of yarn you might want to consider if you can reuse your swatch yarn.
