A sumptuous large original fused glass picture representing the beech woodlands unique to the Buckinghamshire countryside. Magnificent in scale the picture captures the mood of our wonderful Beech woodlands. From light and airy with tall branch's wafting overhead in early morning sunlight to a quiet slightly threatening closed atmosphere as darkness descends. The beauty of glass is that different lighting reflects these moods in the same picture. Called Into the light as in some lights the picture really makes you see the sunlight trickling through the branches of the trees. It also represents the direction I am taking as an artist, making bigger, more exppressive pieces. Cereated using a mixture of cut glass sheets, glass powders and frits along with pre- made molded powdered glass animal details, the whole glass sheet measure 60 x 60 cm and comes in its own custom made frame by Emerald Frames, Chalfont St. Giles.
