Introduction to Edge Weapons Overview:The Edged Weapons Overview course is a 4 hour overview of knife application methods that will give the student a fundamental and broad underst anding of edged weapons. It is designed to maximize retention and maintenance efficiency. Topics to be covered in the course include: Conventional Edge introduction Reverse Edge introduction Point Theory, forward and reverse grip Basic Positions and Tactics Managing Unknown Contacts Fixed vs Folding Deployment Weapons Access Support Hand placement and involvement Specialty and Improvised Edged tools Required Equipment This is not a physically intense class but you will get moving around and getting on the ground.
