This one-to-one workshop offers a calm and inspiring space to explore the potter’s wheel at your own pace—with personal guidance, warm hospitality, and room to get immersed in the rhythm of working with clay. What to Expect This private session is designed for beginners with no prior experience. You’ll be introduced to the essential techniques of wheel throwing, including how to center the clay and shape simple, functional forms such as cups or bowls. Throughout the session, your instructor will guide you step by step, helping you tune into the material, the motion, and the satisfaction of creating something with your hands. You’ll have time to experiment, ask questions, and enjoy the process without pressure. After the workshop, your instructor will take care of trimming, glazing, and firing your chosen piece in a glaze of your choice from the Lodewa glaze library. The finished work will be ready for pickup in approximately 3–4 weeks.
