During our intto to wheel throwing we will explore pottery wheel techniques. You will be introduced to the exciting world of ceramic wheel throwing with our 120 minute introductory class. At the conclusion of the class, you can select a glaze from our collection to add the finishing touch to your masterpiece that our staff will fire and glaze your piece from class. Your Piece will be ready for pick up 3 weeks after your workshop. The process involves an initial kiln firing, followed by dipping your creation in your chosen glaze color, and then a final firing. We will notify you when your finished piece is ready for pick up, which should be in approximately three weeks. All artwork must be picked up within a month of pickup date. Unfortunately, we cannot provide credit for a no call no show, and all changes must be submitted 48 hours prior to the class date. Tardiness PolicyThere are a lot of steps involved the process of creating pottery; for that reason, we are unable to catch up students who arrive more than 15 minutes late to their class. Tardy students are not eligible to move their class to a later date. Clay, Tools, Supplies All clay tools and supplies are provided, please just come wearing comfortable clothes you are okay getting clay on. Some darker clays may stain, but our class clay typically comes out in the wash. Please note class clay is for studio use only. First Class Please arrive about 5 minutes before the class begins so we can check you in. Age Requirement This workshop is for adults, 18 years or older. Cancellation Policy By booking our class you will be agreeing to our cancellation policy, which is: With at least 48 hours notice before your class starts (your first class session) you may: Reschedule your sessions for another course Cancel for a refund After the 48 hour period, or if your class has started, we are unable to offer these two options, for any reason including COVID, illness, injury or unexpected travel.
