Iodine Test PapersThese test papers detect the amounts of iodine in solutions in increments of 0, 12.5, 25, & 50ppm. When using iodine, the proper concentration for a disinfection when using iodine is between 12.5ppm and 25ppm. Instructions: Use dry fingers to remove one strip of test paper form the vial. Dip the strip into the solution being tested for 60 seconds without agitation. Remove and compare immediately to the color chart while strip is still wet. Color comparison will indicate approximate strength of the solution in parts per million (ppm) available iodine.
