A combined lace and velcro closure system allows for an individual fit and specific fastening in certain areas._x005F_x000D_ The cushioning EVA midsole absorbs impacts while the rubberized heel and reinforced toe cap absorb and dissipate forces when the foot hits a rock or roots, protecting both the shoe and its rider.
