The IP Rated Pendant Cord is a simple and versatile option to complete your lighting update. The black PVC cord of ample length comes with an IP rating when paired with a suitable shade for use in multiple indoor or outdoor settings. Mounted by a matching ceiling rose the pendant cord can also be used as a bare bulb feature in unexposed spaces and easily pairs with a shade of your choice. It is a black PVC cord of 3 metre length. It comes with a gland to seal cord entry point and rubber ring to seal the lamp holder shade holes. The cord has no IP rating / protection if it is not paired with a suitable shade that protects the opening / bottom of the lamp holder from the side. The pendant cord has an IP22 rating when paired with an open shade, and an IP44 rating paired with a closed shade. This fitting must be installed where it is protected from direct weather. Always check with your electrician to see if this light is suitable for your desired placement. Please also consider suitability of materials for your installation location. It can be paired with a shade that has a 43-46mm mounting hole and a maximum shade thickness of 10mm. The three wooden mounting blocks shown in the picture are not included, they can be purchased separately from here. Select the 10cm version from the drop down menu for this fitting.
