Cerrado accounts for 12% of all of Brazil's coffee production. This new regional lot is named after the Ipê tree—a majestic hardwood tree with yellow-golden foliage which grows all across Cerrado. The yellow colour is similar to the yellow of the Catuai variety that makes up most of this lot. This particular lot comes from the Santo Aleixo farm and is a fully natural process. In celebration of the Ipê tree, Osito will be making a donation to the Black Jaguar Foundation for every bag of Ipê Gold sold. The Black Jaguar Foundation works protecting the Cerrado savannah and the Amazon rainforest.
