Instead of relying on the thin factory-style retaining nut alone, this setup uses a reduced sleeve to allow full thread engagement with a proper nut, helping keep the IPR solenoid secured in place. The retainer includes a set screw and jam nut for double-locking securement. The jam nut should be tightened before the set screw, creating a secondary lock that helps prevent the retainer from backing off during use.
