North American Rescue · Eye Protection IPRO Tactical Goggle System A fully enclosed wraparound tactical goggle supplied with two interchangeable high-impact polycarbonate lenses — clear for low-light and indoor work, tinted for bright outdoors — both with 100% UV protection. A ring of hexagonal vents moves air across the lens while filtering fine particulate, and the frame is designed to wear over or under a helmet and alongside night-vision equipment. SKU ZZ-0109. Two lenses — clear + tintedHexo-vent airflow100% UV · high-impact polycarbonateHelmet over or under · NVG compatible A goggle earns its place on a duty loadout by staying clear. Coatings wear off and vents let grit in; the hexo-vent ring is an attempt to have the airflow without the hole. What's Included One goggle system per package, single configuration. Both lenses ship in the box. Tap to open. Confirm the standard with North American Rescue in writing before this is issued against a written eye-protection requirement. See the note below Anti-fog coating Not published — fog control is described as ventilation-based The previous version of this page contradicted itself on the eye-protection standard. Its specification table published "high-impact polycarbonate" and named no standard at all, while its marketing and FAQ sections claimed MIL-PRF-32432 ballistic-fragmentation protection, said that specification was "formerly MIL-DTL-43511D", and asserted that meeting it "subsumes" ANSI Z87.1. None of that is settled by the source. MIL-PRF-32432 and ANSI/ISEA Z87.1 are separate standards with separate test regimes — one does not subsume the other, and MIL-PRF-32432 is a fragment-impact performance specification, not a bullet-resistance rating. Nothing here can establish which, if either, this goggle holds, so this page publishes the weaker statement the manufacturer specification supports — high-impact polycarbonate lenses, no standard named — and the conflict is on file for North American Rescue to settle in writing. Eye-protection ratings are a safety fact, not a marketing line. ▾Who Carries It Law-enforcement tactical teams running helmet-integrated eye protection on entries and sustained callouts · Military and breaching elements working in glass, concrete dust and airborne debris · Night-operations personnel needing a clear lens with NVG clearance · TEMS operators and tactical medics treating casualties under threat. Inspect and clean both lenses before every use. A contaminated lens fogs sooner and scratches faster, and a light oil film from skin contact is enough to degrade vision in humidity or on a temperature transition — which is exactly when a goggle gets pushed up onto the helmet and stops protecting anything.
